Error after Windows update yesterday 09/090/09

I installed updates yesterday, now that I've done that my Media center gives
me this message: ehshell.exe - common language runtime debugging services

I'm running Windows xp media center edition 2005.

try system restore to a point before the updates. does that fix the
problem? then install the updates using custom mode, one at a time
until you find the one that causes the issue and then uninstall it
and hide it.
